They usually sell one (cool) item per day, (usually electronic) at a discounted price. Today's "woot" is an 8G ipod touch.
The item is offered for one day or until it sells out. Offerings are updated each "day" at midnight, central time.
Wooters watch: Read descriptions carefully, some items are refurbished, and woot does not replace defective items. You'd have to contact the manufacturer directly.
